Assalamu Alaykum,
We wanted to give you an update on the bathrooms construction at our masjid. Alhamdulelah, the construction committee has been working diligently to get the architectural designs and interior work done in preparation for the kickoff of the construction effort for the men’s and the women’s bathrooms. Below is a summary of our progress and our next course of actions:
Champions local construction committee continued to develop preliminary architectural designs capturing Masjid Council feedback (July – October 2016)
ISGH Central Construction Committee provided feedback and recommendations on preliminary architectural design/plan on October 29, 2016
Architectural design was contracted to Hashmet Wali & Associates on December 20, 2016
Architectural design completed by contracted architect – Hashmet Wali & Associates on February 13, 2017 including MEP
Interior design and material selection options approved by the Masjid Council on March 21, 2017
Bidding is in the week of April 3rd (email [email protected] for details on bidding this project). After which, contractor will be selected and work will begin insha’ Allah.
