Honoring First Responders

SCHEDULE:

11:00   Emergency vehicles on display

  • Visit First Responder Displays
  • Children’s Activities: Bounce houses, face painting, coloring
  • Henna Painting for all ages
  • Tours of the mosque property available upon request.
  • Silent Auction begins in lobby  (Stop by and bid on items)

12:00 Program (inside the gym)

  • Speakers from area faith communities share messages of thanks and personal stories
  • Door prize drawings for First Responders

12:30 – 1:30  Enjoy a Free Lunch

1:00  Final bids on Silent Auction

1:10  Winners pick up Auction items

Bake Sale items available at all times for a donation, for your dessert or to take home.

All donations received today from the Bake Sale and Silent Auction will be given to The Emergency Chaplain GroupThis 501.c.3 group provides Chaplaincy service to EMS, Fire, Paramedic and Police agencies on-scene and “behind the scenes,” with an emphasis on Critical Incident Stress mitigation. The services offered by Emergency Ministries are without regard to religious affiliation (or lack thereof). They help these everyday heroes with issues involving things such as fatalities involving children, multiple fatality accidents, deaths of co-workers, marital problems, substance abuse issues and the like.
