The Family Resource Center (FRC) at Masjid al Salam is a team of professionals and volunteers who provide services aimed at the family. Such services include conflict resolution, mediation, arbitration, and counseling (Guidance, Family, Pre-Marital, Marital, Mental Health, Child, Financial, Inheritance, etc).
A Volunteer Manager is someone who is passionate about building strong families. They will be expected to coordinate with the masjid administration and provide progress reports. Some tasks expected from this position include refining the FRC objectives, preparing a budget and a plan for offering the services and building a team of professionals and volunteers. These are expected to require a commitment of about 5 hours/week. A Bachelor’s degree or above is a plus. Office Manager experience is a plus. This position has the potential to become a paid position as the FRC grows.
